A call time (or calltime) is the time the cast and crew of a production needs to be on the set, ready to work.

A Brief (or Casting Brief) is a description of the kind of person that is required for a particular role. It’s almost like a job description.

Remember you are chosen solely upon your photograph in selection they do not know you or what you can and cannot do.

An availability check is checking whether you are available for a Production or not. If you reply YES, the Casting Agent will forward your details onto a Production for the Production to assess whether you are suitable for the role.
